When Marv-ill met Dragon's Den millionaire James Khan at a recent show, he was introduced to James who told him, "Marv, that was amazing, if this was Dragon's Den I'd be in!"br />
As seen on the Paul O'Grady Show and Cbeebies, with the versatility to have performed on the same bill as Mr Midas, Jehst, Micall Parknson, TY, Sway, Foreign Beggars, Bashy, Caktuz, Planet Ubiquity and more, Marv has found the middle ground between hip-hop and universal entertainment.
With world class beatboxing and rapping while dabbling in production and live-looping, Ill is a multi-talented musical prodigy.
Beatboxing since the age of 15, Marv-ill AKA Superlungs has earned acclaim in the beatbox scene with a slow but steady ascent. It all started when he won the beatbox picnic King of The Jam (kingofthejam.com) at the tender age of 16. Ill has also won The Brighton Hip-Hop Festival Beatbox Battle Jam with UK champion Beardyman and Female beatbox sensation Bellatrix previously winning this event. He has also won the beatbox battle at Throwdown, the UK's leading dance event. He first started performing at college functions such as black history month. Marv-ill has since enjoyed performing for live music events, TV appearances, birthdays, corporate events and most recently tutoring several beatbox workshops. Marv-ill's first ever live-looping show at the 2009 Human Beatbox Convention received a great response from beatbox fans and layman alike. The show has since grown and developed and received excellent responses from live sets at Cambridge and Liverpool Hip-hop week.
Marv has also shown he is an instrument, not just a musician, successfully collaborating, with guitarist/singer/songwriters Sharron Levy and Brad Treeby as well as Hip-hop acts Caktuz and Planet Ubiquity from NYC. He has also collaborated with tap dancers, bboys, classical musicians, an opera singer, rappers and many more.
Marv-ill Superlungs does not define himself as a beatboxer, but instead a well rounded and ambitious artist. Currently writing and recording new material, incorporating all of his separate skills, sky is truly the limit for this 21 year old who's heart beats only for music.

Safe Marv. How's it going? I like your(?) bars on Pit Stop, Life's a Game and the Truth, I think I heard some of the ones on Truth at the convention though. I got a new video up, A beatbox cover of It's Like That by RUN DMC, the sound quality's not great but give it a look if you get the time. You might like It's Tricky if you havn't had a look at that as well. Well done on that London battle (for the fireball) by the way.
