About me:
Welcome to The Marvellous Tea Dance Company.
Vintage and kitsch are our passion!
We are Leeds premier vintage events company, specialising in 40's and 50's themed parties and events.
Since its inception in the summer of 2006 The Marvellous Tea Dances have become a firm fixture on the calendars of the folk of Yorkshire.
The diversity of our tea dancers combined with period music and live entertainment makes for a truly wonderful day.
We create the tea dance experience through our love and passion for detail. Each event is a wonderful spectacle.
100's of metres of bunting criss-cross the ceiling. Pretty embroidered tablecloths, crocheted doillies and flowers decorate each table. Vintage gilt mirrors and pictures, fairy lights and bright flowers line the walls. Now the venue is trasformed come join us!
For the perfect afternoon tea we serve a mouthwatering and lovingly decorated range of classic and seasonal cakes, buns and biscuits. Along with a selection of sandwiches and lashings of fairtrade tea, all served on the cutest vintage china. Mmmm......

I've put some of the pics from Saturday up girlies, there's still a few to go up but I'm tired and need my beauty sleep!( how else do you think I stay this pretty...?)
Aloha Sinners, a big thanks to everyone who helped ram the Packhorse on Friday night, it was a corker! But if you missed it don’t fret we’ll be back there at the end of May. In the meantime one half of the Jukebox, my good self and blues ukulele maestro Miss Lotus Dubois are supporting the wonderful CURTIS ELLER, THIS WED 16TH APRIL, at THE NEW ROSCOE, Bristol Street, Leeds. We’re on at 9pm and we hope to see some of you there. ‘Till then keep it suave, Dr Bordello

For the next couple of months I'm gonna be doing free photoshoots in Leeds for any lady that wants them. The only catch is that they need to be 1940s / 1950s orientated and clean! You can come to me where I've got an abundance of props / clothes / can fix your hair and make-up etc or I can come to you if there's somewhere in particular you'd like your pictures taken. I don't mind shooting friends or couples or working with your ideas if you've got a theme in mind. I can't afford to have pictures printed for you but I can put them on a disc and you can use them at your leisure for whatever you want, as I can't afford copyright either! All I ask is that I'm allowed to publish them in my portfolio.
Let me know if you're interested and we can have a cup of tea and a bun to talk about it or dive right in there with a camera!
Hallelujah Sinners! THE DEVIL’S JUKEBOX are back once again on FRIDAY 11th APRIL at THE PACKHORSE, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds. Aided and abetted by the rousing strains of the rural assassinator and all round gent DAVID BROAD, the ragtime banjo-jangle and Americana of notorious bon vivant EWAN D RODGERS, and the bizarre and wonderful chicken bothering blues-a-billy of Aces and Eight’s very own Mr X-RAY CAT. Plus some lovely tunes of the twenties and thirties I’ve managed to load down from 78’s onto some of those new-fangled CD thingumajigs. So for an evening of unrestrained drinking, quality musical mayhem and light frottage, remember, Jesus saves, but the Devil’s Jukebox urges you to blow it all on whisky and song. Stay Suave, Dr Bordello
