Growing up on the west coast of Florida and born into a commercial fishing family my heart has always been the water. The small island town I grew up in that my family has called home for generations was a haven for not only fishermen but also artist who loved it for its raw and natural beauty. I grew up exploring the backwaters of the Florida Gulf and experienced a childhood that only seems to be written about in books.

A lot of people ask me why I chose photography or how I got into it. It’s simple... I love art! When I first started I wasn’t setting a goal to be a full time photographer I just knew I wanted to try it. I quickly fell more in love with it than I could have imagined. Within just a couple of months I shot my first wedding. Yikes! With 15 roles of film and one camera and lens I was out to capture their day. By the end of the night I used up all of my film and realized that my bill at the lab would be more than I was getting paid for the wedding. But to my surprise the pictures weren’t all that bad. I eventually got my first digital camera and the rest is history! I am now shooting across the country and all over the state of Florida. A lot of brides hire me because they know the images they receive will be as beautiful as their days deserves.

As a former bride and photographer my goal is to truly take you back to one of the most important days of your life! I love weddings and I love photography, which has made my business a great success! I love weddings not only because I know what it’s like to be a bride but also because of the many wonderful ways a wedding is the perfect event to capture. Our goal is that we won’t give back to you snap shots of events but art found in just about every moment of a wedding.
