Marye, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, will be performing her original music, reflecting Marye’s experiences from travelling throughout the world. Marye has written and performed songs inspired Latin flavors from South America, Celtic melodies from her Irish roots, old-time music gleaned from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, and Mediterranean rhythms from her studies in Athens, Greece. Singing songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Marye’s rich and beautiful voice tells stories about the complexity of love and importance of social justice.
Marye has performed all over the world, in Santiago, Chile; Rio de Janeiro; Athens; Ireland; in numerous New York Locations, including The Bitter End; Boom Restaurant; The Knitting Factory; The Gershwin Hotel; Rockwood Music Hall; and Greenwich Village Bistro; as well as around the country in Los Angeles, Boston, Cambridge, Burlington, Savannah, and New Jersey.
