Music
My first crush, when I was 5 or six years old was on Huey Lewis. I carried around a forty-five sleeve for weeks telling my parents I was going to marry him. Thank God many of my interests have changed!!!!!

The Beastie Boys. David Bowie. Elvis. Dean Martin. The Rat Pack. Jimmy Luxury. Richard Cheese. Stray Cats. Old U2.Yes, my husband has turned me on to old school hip hop. He knows more about it than any person I have ever met. Also, by default not only am I a New York Yankees fan, I am a Tom Waits fan. Classical. Opera. Not too much into musicals. Gwen Stefani.... love her! Sometimes I like some bluegrass. It reminds me of my roots... more later when I think about it.

Heroes
My mother. She was selfless, kind, loving, generous, funny, beautiful, smart, patient, compassionate, talented. All of the things I am not... just kidding, but I could work on a lot of them. She was there for me in the best and worst times.
About me: retro layout powered by HOTFreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments
My life has dramatically changed since I signed on myspace for the first time. I started as a stay-at-home mom... fully domesticated. Now I have a career I never could have dreamed of. In 1999 I said I would never do makeup again. Never say never...ever.
I have been doing makeup since 1996 and have been a model, makeup artist, and taken courses in photography. I graduated in 2002 with a bachelors degree in Art History from the Ohio State University. I am a product expert/educator for Sephora and hold expert certifications in both color and fragrance.
My truest talent is working with real women with their everyday makeup. I am extremely passionate about client service and connecting with the people in my chair. Also, I have a passion for film noir imagery and retro/pinup style.
Kitty Maer (and Wolfgang Parker), Chas Krider, and Acid Pop Tart are all resposible for keeping me busy when I am not at Sephora. I am really blessed to be a part of their artistic processes. Acid Pop Tart is my muse and has become a very close friend. How is all happened is too interesting to write in my profile.
I am extremely selective. Right now I am focusing on avant garde projects and porfolio building.
I try to be kind. I try to help when I can. I constantly try to be a better person, mother, wife, daughter, friend, and artist.
Who I'd like to meet: I am obsessed with Alex Box. I would pass out if I met her.
Jason and I got a new dog, Alfie. He is a lot like Wallace so its hard not to love him. Here is his shelter photo but he is way cuter. Freddie seems okay so far and Alfie has followed Freddie around and copied what Freddie did on our walk. I think eventually they will be buddies.
Hey Mary, how are you? I am glad to see you are optimistic. It was good to see you and I still am amazed at how Seamus is so grown up. I hope we can hang out on a more regular basis, its been way too long. I really missed you guys and the craziness of the Winchells!
Mary I am so sorry. Your Mom is a wonderful lady who has been thru more than anyone should have to bear.I know how much she means to you and how important she is in your everyday life. The bond you share with her is so beautiful and special. I will keep praying for her and hope for a miracle. Again call us if there is anything we can do. Love, Sarah
