A restless heart and devotion to music has made Mary Fagan a true original with wide ranging influences. During performances she drifts seamlessly from jazz, to folk, funk, bluegrass and blues. You can't fit her neatly into any particular musical category.
The first thing you'll notice about her music is her voice. It is distinct and rich, with a style reminiscent of Phobe Snow. She backs herself comfortably on piano or guitar. Fagan started playing piano when she was big enough to reach the keys from her sister's lap. Piano is her first love but she has found herself playing more guitar, since it fits in much more easily with her mobile lifestyle. She has lived in New England, New York, Colorado, California, North Carolina and most recently Austin, Texas, soaking up musical styles and flavors along the way.
She's happy playing music in many settings; solo, duo, trio or with a full band.

Hey there, Fagan.. Just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas! Hope you have a nice time with your friends...you sure have missed a lot of weather here in N.England!
