It's also the time for me to treat you to a new song straight from the studio. 'Rest Your Soul' is one of 5 tracks that we have recorded live in the studio just 2 weeks ago. It's warts & all at the moment as we work on final mixes with fabulous engineer Drew Griffiths. So enjoy the rawness and look out for more songs/clips up soon! It's been a hectic few weeks in the land of Mary, starting with a live session in the studio recording various new songs, writing and performing these songs at various gigs and finally just a week ago shooting a video for the track 'Rose of Gold'. Thanks must go to Mother and Father Leay for the excellent venue and the volovonts!!
On Tuesday we took to the stage at the BBC and performed the latest material to a great crowd at BBC Television Centre. Another chance for us to get the material out there and meet some wicked new fans. Thank you to everybody who supported us.
Over the next few weeks, along with stuffing myself silly with turkey and pigs in blankets, I shall be heading back to the music room for more writing and creating. Watch out for new songs, gigs and generally more of everything in 2008!

Smoke Feathers have been invited to play at the INDY Music Awards media launch and short list announcement party on Wednesday April 2nd 7pm at the Rock Garden, Covent Garden, London.
It’s no guarantee that we have been shortlisted for the final, but we hope it is a good sign....
