I learned so much listening to Bette Midler, Linda Ronstadt, the Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel growing up. I love the journies you go on with Dido, Sting, Damien Rice, Shaun Colvin, Alison Krauss, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Maria Callas, Nancy Lamott, Rosemary Clooney, my favorite old timers Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Kenny Rankin, Cat Stevens, anything written by Jimmy Webb, the stylings of Frank Sinatra, K.D. Lang, Mamas and the Papas, Mina, Andrea Bocelli, Indigo Girls, Nat King Cole, Tina Turner, and who should be famous: Maritri, Rob Miller, Terry Wollman, Patti Linsky, and Dominique Plaisant. The mentors of my life, Susan Batson and Luca Francesconi.
