MARY'S KIDS - SAY NO! 

I know of VERY few bands that have struggled on through chaos & hardship as hard as Mary's Kids. The fact that they keep coming at you harder, better & with slicker grace each time they crawl back up from from the trenches is nothing short of both admirable & honorable. While throughout the years members came & went the essence of the band has been forged & refined into something as rare a creature as dignified (I almost wanna say noble) Punkrock. There is nothing cute about Mary's Kids. With their roots proudly planted in the dirt of early North American H.C./ Punk, Mary's Kids wont shy away from desperately howling-out their brand of post-rock despair. On SAY NO! they take things further out onto the diamond's edge. Though it might not be miles away from earlier Mary's Kids albums SAY NO! is about the transmutation & refinement of their sound. They come across more angry than ever before while still maintaining a swaggering gutsy groove & it's with given ease they claim their place at the top of the heap of touring Stockholm Punkrock bands. This gem of an album will surely leave its rightful mark on music history.
