Mary Uke Hargreaves, ( a.k.a. Mary Ukelady) a fun filled singer-songwriter from western Maine, presents refreshing folksy original songs and favorites. Her warm lyrical melodies celebrate country living, love and hope, flowing with rhythm and a style for all ages. Raised on Mozart, polkas, and classical piano lessons as a child, Mary moved on to guitar as a teen. Then in 2001, she discovered the joy of playing ukulele while performing the Tin Pan Alley classic song "Ukulele Lady" at a music celebration in the tropics. She's been writing songs & performing ever since in Maine communities, gatherings, festivals, cafes, classrooms, libraries, and on community TV.
