Mash It Up Short Film Festival is on Friday July 10, at 6-9.30pm, at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre. See the top 20 entries! Find out who won! With short films, animations, mashups, book trailers, plus entertainment by Freak Morice, door prizes and snacks, this will be a fabulous event. Workshops and film festival are FREE!
Mash It Up is a short film festival run by Moreton Bay Regional Council. If you are between 12 and 25 and live in Moreton Bay or neighbouring Regions eg, Brisbane, Somerset, Sunshine Coast you can join this free project and learn how to produce your own short film. On this page there are examples of some of last years entries – so check them out.
The top 20 short films created as part of this project will be publicly screened at the Mash It Up Short Film Festival at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre, Friday 10 July 2009.
..There are top cash prizes for the best short films. Also the winners of Amp’d Up and local bands will be playing.
Mash It Up workshops are happening across Moreton Bay Region Libraries from mid February to mid May with a film camp during the April school holidays. Registration for these FREE workshops are limited.
For all workshops and the creation of short films everything you need is provided by the library e.g. cameras, handycams and tripods.
