i dont believe in being defined by the things you've done or will do but the things you dream of doing. life isnt a race, not something to be won or conquered. it is something to enjoy and never take for granted. its over in the blink of an eye. the only promise that will always be kept in life is death. its not something to be sad or scared of. its something to embrace. never run from what you are called to do. embrace every obstacle and love all your enemies. pay attention to the simple things and above all love people to life the way Jesus did.
ive been alive 21 years and in those 21 years i was pretty sure i could do it all myself all by myself. now, that like i said, im 21 i realize i couldnt do any of it alone. in all of it i needed my God and His son Jesus. i had child like faith once and im so glad to say i have it again. i love the life He has blessed me with! i have a home full of love, a dad that would do anything for me. a mom who even though i dont see her all the time still likes to verbally kick me in the butt and never EVER stops believing in me. a little brother that has the wildest mood swings(hes trying to keep up with me), hes the best friend i'll ever ask for. he's growing up to be such a strong man in God. i havent got many friends but the ones i have i wouldnt give up for anything. they have stuck with me through my stupid moments, my smart moments and my 'what the crap' moments. i love it! my love and faith in God is endless. i DO believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. i DO believe that He died for our transgressions and i DO believe that on the third day He rose again. i will bare witness to the world of my lord and savior and the wonderful and loving god that he is! you dont have to agree(itd be nice if you did though :] ) i however will not compromise my faith for anyone. I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs or have sex with multiple random partners. in short, yes i am straight edge. not for you, not for hobo joe. not for anyone but for me. it is MY personal choice that i refuse to surrender. Don’t judge me on the way I choose to live and I wont judge you. my imagination some times is too big for my brain. my dreams and ambitions are still as big as they were as a child and i love it!i’m a firm believer in forgiveness. but that usually gets taken advantage of. my goal in life is to know that i did everything i could. someday i WILL see the aurora borealis and aurora australis. i promise!
