(BIOGRAPHY)
MASONIC ABYSS is a Gothic Industrial Metal band based in Dundee, Scotland, UK.

Formed on Wednesday the 2nd of January 2008, the band draws its influence from a long list of musical artists including; Marilyn Manson, Deathstars, Rammstein and Nine Inch Nails. The band was formed by lead vocalist Serotonin, through a deep love of music for its beautiful and timeless qualities. Anyone with desire and talent can create it at any stage of life and not only bring joy to themselves but also countless others. Serotonin states that music is his life and it is what he does best, it is how he gives back to society as a means of justifying his existence. Serotonin and Creeper are the writing team with the other members being live musicians.

The band has a very strong and striking image that stands out a mile off. The music is an inner and outer reflection of their personal lives and the world around them. The lyrical content covers a broad range of subjects including politics, religion, relationships, love, family, spirituality, war, peace freedom, depression, drugs, addiction and the New World Order.

Masonic Abyss has a strong online following and frequently interacts with fans through Myspace and an interactive chat tool where visitors can meet and discuss the band.

Their debut album "Music For The Apocalypse" was written, recorded and produced by Serotonin and Creeper, from their very own home studio. The album took around 2 years to complete and consists of 14 mind melting, thought provoking, tight, melodic, gothic industrial metal tracks. Going from hard hitting and rocking anthems like "BeWaRE oF tHE gOD", "KniFe tO KnOW YoU" and "REvEnGe aND ReD MiSt", to the heart wrenching ballads of "BRinG bAcK ThE HeArT" and "A NuCLeaR sUNdOwN", to the sick and twisted yet insanely brilliant "LEadeRs Of tHe sEcT" and "iNsANiTY bECkONs and the politically powered "SYmbOLs aNd SiGNs", "ThE bLUepPriNT FoR EnSlAvEMenT and "tHe CReMatION oF cARE" "Music For The Apocalypse" has it all. (BAND MEMBERS NAMES)
SEROTONIN - "In the central nervous system, SEROTONIN is believed to play an important role in the regulation of body temperature, mood, sleep, vomiting, sexuality, and appetite. Low levels of serotonin have been associated with several disorders, notably clinical depression, migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, tinnitus, fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Regular excercise and a positive lifestyle boost the amount of SEROTONIN levels present in the human brain and facilitate a happier existence".

CREEPER - The Creeper virus was first detected on ARPANET, the forerunner of the Internet in the early 1970s. It propagated via the TENEX operating system and could make use of any connected modem to dial out to remote computers and infect them. It would display the message "I'M THE CREEPER : CATCH ME IF YOU CAN."

ECHELON - ECHELON is a term associated with a global network of computers that automatically search through millions of intercepted messages for pre-programmed keywords or fax, telex and e-mail addresses. Every word of every message in the frequencies and channels selected at a station is automatically searched. The processors in the network are known as the ECHELON Dictionaries. ECHELON connects all these computers and allows the individual stations to function as distributed elements an integrated system. An ECHELON station's Dictionary contains not only its parent agency's chosen keywords, but also lists for each of the other four agencies in the UKUSA system [NSA, GCHQ, DSD, GCSB and CSE]

VERICHIP - VeriChip is the first Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved human-implantable radio-frequency identification (RFID) microchip. It is marketed by VeriChip Corporation, a subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions, and it received United States FDA approval in 2004. About twice the length of a grain of rice, the device is typically implanted above the triceps area of an individual’s right arm. Once scanned at the proper frequency, the VeriChip responds with a unique sixteen-digit number which can correlate the user to information stored on a database for identity verification, medical records access and other uses. The insertion procedure is performed under local anesthetic in a physician's office and once inserted, is invisible to the naked eye. As an implanted device used for identification by a third party, it has generated controversy and debate.

CORONA - Corona was a US military reconnaissance satellite system operated by the CIA Directorate of Science & Technology with substantial assistance from the US Air Force, used for photographic surveillance of the Soviet Union, China and other areas from June 1959 until May 1972. The project name is sometimes given as CORONA, but it is a codeword, not an acronym.

TALON - TALON (Threat and Local Observation Notice), is a database maintained by the United States Air Force after the September 11th terrorist attacks. It was authorised for creation in 2002 by Deputy Defense Secretary Paul D. Wolfowitz, in order to collect and evaluate information about possible threats to U.S. servicemembers and civilian workers in the US and at overseas military installations. The database included lists of anti-war groups and people who have attended anti-war rallies. TALON reports are collected by various US Defense Department agencies including law enforcement, intelligence, counterintelligence and security, and are analyzed by a Pentagon agency, the Counterintelligence Field Activity. CIFA has existed since 2004, and its size and budget are secret.
