WHAT ARE THE THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS OF MASSAGE?
Massage increases the circulation in the blood and lymph systems, thus carrying off harmful metabolic waste by-products. These accumulate in the cells of the muscle tissue from overwork, tension and/or fatigue. Increased nutrition and oxygen from the blood assists healing processes and heightens the body’s overall vitality. Some additional benefits include; 1) alleviating pain in sore muscle; 2) releasing tension, stress, and/or fatigue; 3) aiding in weight reduction; 4) increasing tone of skin and muscle tissue; 5) stimulation of nerve supply to virtually every cell and organ in the body.

HOW LONG DOES A MASSAGE TAKE?
A thorough treatment can last from one (1) to one and one-half hours (1½).
This depends on the client.
