Mass Casualty is formed of five main Band Members. Who have come together over the coarse of eight months, and what feels like a lifetime of searching. For years Chad and Styx have been close friends, in and out of different bands. In 2006 they formed a band together called "Bleed the System, which consisted of Chad , Styx , Chuck, and Jeff. They played only one show "Jim Fest 06" as "Bleed the System" Upon researching the name "Bleed the System" they discovered the name had been taken by a band in another state. Not wanting to have the same name and desiring originality, the name "Love Land Screw Machines" was tossed around. Shortly after settling on the name they realized that something wasn't right within the band. Jeff wasn't "in it" as they say, and Chuck and his family were Living in Ohio . So needless to say "Love Land Screw Machines" fell apart. Determined to carry on what they had started, and not wanting to loose progress, Chad and Styx began to look for new members. In February 2007 Chad and Styx posted an ad for a singer on the internet. And a singer responded, his name was Tony, he came to try out for the band in February 07'. Then they needed a bass player, Tony recomended his friend Scott, he joined in February 07'. Not wanting to continue on as "The Love Land Screw Machines" they began searching for a new name. After a short search they found the new name we all know and love "Mass Casualty" The now four some, began writing new music together. Mass Casualty's first show was on June 23, 2007 , Jim Fest 07'. After six more shows as a band their fan base grew, and they began to get a dedicated following. This was when Mass Casualty began to think about adding another guitar player to bring some solo action to their music. Scott mentioned that a close friend of his was an excellent guitar player, so they invited him over for practice. In October 07' Todd came over for practice, and he hasn't left since. With Mass Casualty now consisting of its five main members the band continues to write new music and play shows. With one main motto and mission on their mind….
