Massimo Scattolin
Appuntamento da non perdere per gli amanti della chitarra: mercoledì 16 luglio, alle ore 21, al Circo Teatro del Parco San Giuliano (entrata dalla Porta Gialla), si terrà "Guitarland", spettacolo organizzato dalla Municipalità di Mestre-Carpenedo nell'ambito dell'iniziativa "Concerti in Villa", in collaborazione con "Amici della Musica di Mestre" e il sostegno dell'Azienda di Promozione Turistica della Provincia di Venezia e dell'Istituzione Parchi di Mestre.
Sei grandi chitarristi, specializzati in differenti stili, dal classico al rock, dal jazz al flamenco, faranno un viaggio nel mondo della chitarra, cercando di uscire dai confini del proprio genere musicale e creare un nuovo linguaggio tra il classico e il popolare. Il sestetto è composto da Massimo Scattolin, chitarrista classico, titolare di master al Mozaretum di Salisburgo; Tolo Marton, chitarrista rock, blues e country, vincitore della "Jimmy Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition" in Seattle; Stefano Scutari, esecutore e compositore specializzato in musica brasiliana; Alberto Negroni, chitarra jazz, diplomato al "Git - Guitar Institute of Technology" di Hollywood; Luciano Bottos, chitarra acustica, esperto nelle principali tecniche moderne; Bruno Gennaro, flamenchista, compositore e docente.
I biglietti (ingresso unico a 5 euro) possono essere acquistati alla segreteria degli Amici della Musica di Mestre, in piazzetta Maestri del Lavoro n. 3, oppure direttamente al Circo Teatro di San Giuliano il giorno del concerto, a partire dalle ore 20.

He started his concert activity as a soloist, and took up later the chamber music, becoming specialized in the execution of the most important concerts for guitar and orchestra, including some concerts specially written for him by great composers, such as, for instance, Violet Archer and Astor Piazzolla.
He thus started attracting the attention of the audience in Europe and in the United States, and he is described by the critics as one of the best guitar executors. He has also collaborated with the main European television networks and with great theatre actors as Cucciolla, Pagliai, Gassman.
He is member of prestigious national and international contests, and he is the first Italian guitarist to hold master classes at the “Mozarteum” in Salzburg.
He has been recording for the Symposium, Sonar and the Rivoalto labels, both as a soloist and together with the violinists Giuliano Carmignola and Franco Mezzena, the violist Marcello Defant, the cellist Arturo Bonucci and Julius Berger, the flutist Roberto Fabbriciani, the Amati quartet, the pianist Massimiliano Damerini, the guitarist Tolo Marton and the percussionist Tullio De Piscopo. Furthermore he collaborates with the guitarist Carlos Bonell, the violinist Paul Roczek, the cellist Patrick Demenga and the pianist Massimo Somenzi. He founded the ensemble “Paganini consort” and “Guitarland”.
Trevigiano, ha iniziato lo studio della chitarra con il Maestro Giorgio Baratella, perfezionandosi in seguito con il Maestro Alirio Diaz, che ha definito quella di Massimo Scattolin una "... squisita arte chitarristica e musicale...".
Dopo aver iniziato giovanissimo la sua attività concertistica come solista, si è dedicato alla musica da camera, per specializzarsi poi nell'esecuzione dei principali concerti per chitarra e orchestra, meritandosi la dedica di opere di grandi compositori, come ad esempio Violet Archer e Astor Piazzolla.formazioni
Si è così imposto brillantemente al pubblico in Europa e negli Stati Uniti, unanimemente definito dalla critica uno dei migliori esecutori della chitarra. E' stato inoltre collaboratore delle principali reti televisive europee ed ha lavorato intensamente anche nel teatro con grandi attori come Cucciolla, Pagliai, Gassman.
Membro di commissioni in prestigiosi concorsi nazionali e internazionali, è docente in vari corsi di perfezionamento in Italia e all'estero, ed è il primo chitarrista italiano titolare di cattedra di master al "Mozarteum" di Salisburgo.
