Ricardo Rodrigues is the name behind the project Massivedrum. Starting to mix at a very early age, he was only 10 years old when the mixers and turntables embrace him for the journey he has been taking for the past 19 years. Like almost every DJ he first played at school and private parties. Acquiring experience in a lot of residencies at some bars and clubs, he is now for 3 years the resident DJ from two of the most important Clubs at the southside river Tejo, near Lisbon. ESTADO CHIC and WAIKIKI SUMMER CHIC. Around the age of 16 Massivedrum started to produce his own tracks. Between 2000 and 2004 he won more than 5 contests for the Portuguese Dance Music magazine Dance Club. After those wins, several labels contact him. Till now Massivedrum has relesed lots of Originals and Remixes and he is now part of the catalogue of such labels as Ministry Of Sound, Ultra, Vidisco, Stereo Productions, Younan Music, Magna Recordings, SoundGroove Records, Magnetica Recordings, Kaos Records, Loop 128 Records, Queep Organic House, Hypno Music, UC Dark Side, Dasound Records among others. His original major hit was the now popullar track "Fingerprint" with the collaboration of the guitarrist Danny. With lots Of projects. Massivedrum has the Southboys project with his friend Johnny Rodry and he his now with DJ Fernando the oficial remixer of Vidisco, the biggest label from Portugal. The Massivedrum & DJ Fernando Remix Factory. Massivedrum wishes to never stop, so, stay tuned.........
