About MASSIVE MOUTH

"The newest new wave is coming from an unlikely place - middle America. Missouri's own Massive Mouth hail from their state capital - the ultra-conservative Jefferson City (which, admittedly, is only a hop, skip and a jump away from the ultra-hip college town of Columbia). Their influences recall more Manchester than Missouri, and it's apparent while listening to their debut EP, "Clear Is Not A Color." Like The Cure and Joy Division before them, Massive Mouth possess the ability to combine melodic pop and angst-fueled energy over a dark and dancy groove. Apparently I had a funtion on the camera that made some of them kind of blurry, but that's what you get when you have to borrow someone elses camera.
