Founded in 1989 by DJ Gary Cannavo, masspool dj association has grown in many ways to become one of the most highly regarded dj record pools in the United States, winning a "Record Pool Of The Year" nomination at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Since the time of its inception, we all worked very hard to establish relationships with record labels, recording artists, producers, as well as promoters. We like to recruit disc jockeys who would not only give total exposure to new music, but also give the labels research, feedback and play for their up and coming artists, projects and new releases. "masspool dj association" soon established its reputation through hard work, dedication and focus that led to its present status as a top record pool in the industry. Its membership roster includes professional club, radio mix show, independent, and international disc jockeys who spin in locations all over the U.S., and increasingly throughout the world. The music they help expose covers a broad spectrum of House, R & B, Hip Hop, Freestyle, Crossover, HiNRG, Underground, Progressive, International and beyond. Their common thread is one they share with all of our members who have a love for the music we spin and a willingness to give the recording industry the all information they need about the projects they release. We strive to establish new ground for the music industry as a major street level team where we can break new ground and watch new artists' rise from the street. We like to see them become a major force in the music world, so if you have a project to promote feel free to let us assist you in breaking new ground for your projects!
