MAST are now consisting of 5 members:simon(bass,4 & 5 strings + vox),nik(rhythym guitars) , tony(lead guitars 6 & 7 strings + vox),ben(drums & all kinds of timing)& phil(vox & kindly manner) we will be adding some new tracks to our player soon. it as taken what seems an eternity to get this outfit together,but as they say everything comes to those who wait! would like to thank alun rees(cadno music,llanellis premier musical store) for allowing us to use the rehearsal room whenever we need it, & being there with any assistence(spares,advice,cups of tea,ect) also. would like to also mention feedback magazine(ricky rimshot) for putting us on the bill at bar.co swansea(negative profile,mean streak also on the bill). thanks to chris smith( the masons rock club,llanellis no1 rock venue) for putting us on the bill there regular,cheers mate doing a grand job,we are looking forward to the 3rd of april(come & see us there!!).we are always ready & willing to do any charity shows that need bands,so please let us know if you need us for them. we will be also working on an e.p. for the near future gigs(completion date tbc,check this space). we would like to thank all of you guys who give your support to MAST,as without you this would not be worth doing!!!! also dillon & ade for working on some graphics for us(soon to be added). we are really looking to take this as far as we can go with it(hopefully get signed by a major label & really take off,would be the icing on the cake!!). thats all for now folks so keep all your hopes up and make all your goals a reality, keep you all posted,watch this space!
Things are alright, bit up and down as usual - its never simple, is it? I had to pull out of monday's gig at Moloko because I'd been suffering a hell of a cold with the worst sore throat I've ever had. Couldn't talk let alone sing on monday morning. Absolutely gutted, bank holiday monday on Wind Street, we'd have had one hell of a crowd.
The good news is Jake, the original Gutter Star guitarist, has come back to play bass, so we're jamming, writing new stuff and looking for a drummer - got a few possibile stickmen lined up, so fingers crossed. We did the open mic on Wednesday, before I got ill, and the bass really added that missing something to the tunes. I've been slipping in a slowed-down, acoustic cover of the old Minder TV series theme tune which is going down a storm once people realise what song it is and start chanting along.
Keep me up to date with the new band, I'd love to come and watch, maybe even open for you and hang out over a few pints again. Best of luck with it, hope to see you soon.

Tony, wasn't that a bit immature? Look, I was bitter about the way you handled the situation-and the way I handled the situation-I know I'm a div made mistakes and not that good-now anyways-seeing some of the bands we've played with and hearing the feedback, n its like. yeh. okay. I get it. and as for the equipment situation-Money doesn't come easily man, I live in the ass-end of nowhere and have no job, just college. We just want people to go to shows-if not for us! then for other great bands! I don't know what your problem is but I think you need to sort that out before you start on my problems-you have as much of a problem as I do Tony, mine are financial and my ego-however it being tamer now than before. but I honestly don't know what you're problems are. Probably just the drink I think-I dont know-not my place to say-If i were to say something-it'd be something I'd regret cus I'm NOT a spiteful person deep down man.
Never said we were 'that good'!
