ENG: In their music the Jamaica of Bob Marley and the Clash of London blend the simplicity of pop with a taste for the dub sound research. The band was born in Lanciano, a town in the province of Chieti (Italy) and revolves around the Flexible Studios (maintained by Lucio Piccirilli) already defined elsewhere as "... a small colored factory " a recording studio active participant in the artistic development of many young local bands. Master Blaster although an Italian band choose to use English as official language because they are convinced that it is more universal than their native language. Their lyrics speak about the various ways in which love can manifest itself, about human behavior typical of this new millennium and of course ... Revolution! Their intent is to compose music you can dance and sing and can expose at the same time a point of view about the world. It is only rock 'n' roll! But we like it! _______________________________________________________________________________ ITA:Nella loro musica la Giamaica di Marley e la Londra dei Clash si fondono con la semplicità del pop e con il gusto per la ricerca sonora tipica del dub. La band nasce a Lanciano, cittadina della provincia di Chieti e ruota intorno allo Studio Flessibile (gestito da Lucio Piccirilli) già definito altrove come "…una piccola factory colorata" e che in realtà è un piccolo studio di registrazione partecipe ed attivo nella crescita artistica di molte giovani band locali (The You Are, Management del dolore post-operatorio, The Funnels, Red Eyes, Terzina col punto, Rolando Garau ecc.) Pur essendo una band di musicisti italiani i Master Blaster scelgono di adottare l'inglese come lingua ufficiale perché sono convinti che quest'ultima risulti più musicale ed universale rispetto alla loro lingua madre. I testi delle loro canzoni parlano delle varie modalità con le quali l'amore può manifestarsi ed esprimersi, dei comportamenti umani tipici di questo nuovo millennio e ovviamente di…rivoluzioni! Il loro obiettivo è comporre musica che si possa ballare e cantare e che possa esporre nello stesso tempo un punto di vista sul mondo. In fondo è solo rock 'n' roll! Ma ci piace!
