When four lads meet at music school and started jamming in mid 2005, no one could have guessed the scope or brilliance that resulted. The product of the chance meeting between these four individuals is highly original, alternative rock that is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise generic post millennium music jamboree. Audiences can’t resist, and every time they take to the stage, a show like no other is performed.
Master Cardinal have grown their reputation while headlining countless shows at all the landmark venues in Melbourne including the Espy Gershwin room, Revolver and the Ding Dong Lounge, and playing with great up and coming acts such as The Fearless Vampire Killers, Little Red and Shaman Son, as well as many others.
Master Cardinal have also recently finished recording their debut E.P at Eastern Bloc studios with acclaimed producer and engineer, Jonathan Burnside (Sleepy Jackson, The Living End, The Melvins, Dukes of Windsor, Faith No More, NOFX).
