Masterclass was set up by the Theatre Royal Haymarket to give young people the chance to work with, learn from and be inspired by great artists. We offer a year-round programme of events with a focus on acting and performance but including directing, writing and producing. Since its launch in 1998, Masterclass has supported over 35,000 young people. Our events are free of charge for ages 17-30 and mature students.

Just in case anyone has noticed the time of the 'Behind the Scenes of Lord Of The Rings' Masterclass this Friday is listed as 2.30pm on here, it is in reality 2.00pm. You can confirm this by checking Masterclasses main website where it is shown as 2.00pm.
Some of you will know me as the person who takes the photos of the Masterclasses. You won't all be aware that I have also been an actors headshot photographer for a number of years as well as theatre productions. If any of you are looking to get new photos taken in the future please check out my page to see examples of my work. Even more examples in the 'pics' section. If you have any questions you want to be answered please ask away. Due to Myspace rules (which are fair enough) I do not display any prices on the page or a link to my website. That might even be one of the questions you want to ask me! lol. Remember for any actors out there or graduates on a 2-3 year course the deadline date for Spotlight is October 15.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Nica Burns' masterclass last week - truly inspiring! It was my first experience of Masterclass and so helpful to those of us strapped for cash and setting out in the industry that it's great advice and also free, not something you often see for talks from such high-profile industry people. Thanks for introducing me to Masterclass and more classes from producers please!
