About me:

My partner and I (going on 8 years together) opened the doors the Surly Wench Pub in Tucson, Arizona in early 2004. The Wench has since become a staple in Tucson's nightlife scene as well as a destination point for national and international acts such as Devil Doll, Flametrick Subs, Booze Bombs, Goddam Gallows, Deadbolt, Rezurex, Henchmen and countless others. We are located in the heart of Downtown and continue to find that many of our customers find the Wench to be a second home.

We started Black Cherry Burlesque in early 2006 as an artistic side project. I direct and manage the troupe as well perform with my cherries as Inga Kaboom. Black Cherry is Tucson's first and only Burlesque troupe. It's an art form that I am extremely passionate about and am so proud to watch it evolve into the huge success that it has become. Our troupe consists of a wide range of styles ranging anywhere from the classic burlesque striptease to modern inspired pieces. Each act is extremely thought out and our costumes are enormously elaborate! We put so much energy into our shows and consider ourselves to be some of Arizona's best risque entertainment.

When Surly Wench and Black Cherry began to evolve, the production of promotional materials became what seemed like a full time job all on it's own. Skwid Inc Photography and Design was created out of necessity and in turn became one of my greatest passions.
