Born in Gracie Fields Old house In Millionaires Avenue in Fincheley London UK 1969, my first song as a child i ever owned was Dont Stand So Close To Me by The Police Music has been my whole life it has got me trought the tough times its seen me through the good times, I have a Related to a song for every stage of my life, Music has been the one thing that has got me through life, Went to a club in the 80's with my family as a teenager and a man called Roy once asked me if I minded just playing a few records for the night, I thought to myself I had never touched a twin deck in my life let alone mix, WOW was I a quick learner. My DJ life just took off from that day on. BUT my biggest impression on music was my old dad we used to have family come to visit twice a year from America and Cambridge UK my old dad just could not help himself he would entertain us all with his singing he would sing Chas & Dave songs and the one he was most famous for and still sings it today is From a Jack to a King by Ned Miller you can find him on my facebook with the mic in hand he is a legend in my eyes,
I gave up DJ ing and did not look back for some time I guess I just had other things on my mind! I traveled for a while with the fairground meet loads of interesting people! came home in the end. Had 3 wonderful children 1 of my children Died totally messed me up for a long time in my life I just totally did not see the real reality anymore and yes sometimes I still dont, I am so anti Goverment I stick it to the Man every chance I get, The way I see it I control No one and No one controls me, We are all in control of our own destiny Life is what you make it, and yes sometimes life does have a habit of making you! There was this one video i see some years ago of Jim Morrison from 1969 interview where Jim gives his predictions of the future of music Man this is what made me who I am becoming today! One Man many machines electronics! This was a Great Inspiration for me to hear this from the one man who was my Idol It was like a calling again! I have made 5 albums and trust me 4 of them are not very good practice makes perfect as album 5 shows that which is Crossroads to the Promise Land, Crossroads has now become a double album, Its called Crossroads because that is where i am in my life at the moment. I lost contact with my son for 12 years and on April 8th 2009 we had first contact again, after all these years not knowing where each other was, And I could not believe it when he told me he was in a band called The Take Over, it totally through me Man the music is in the blood He plays the Guitar and Vocals I read some of his lyrics he wrote for his girlfriend and trust me when I say my son has natural talent with song writing he does! So please Look out for The Take Over. I can tell you I am proud to be his dad!
I produce my own music, using various machines and software, my favorites are Magix Music Maker, Ejay products and FruityLoops and a OZone Midi Keyboard. if anyone have any ideas on some music they would like me to play about with let me know, My latest album "Crossroads to the Promise Land" was an experimental album trying out new styles, Before this album I was mainly just in to Drum and Bass, Techno, Trance, So moving into HipHop style and other styles was a challenge!
