Trent Reznor, Galder, all of the music that I have listened to throughout the years, and all of the musicians that inspired me.

My style of music is composition. This style doesn’t reflect a type of sound but more about the writing of the music and the dymanics that flow from riff to riff. The style of my music can range from rock, ballad, metal, techno, dance, club, and all sorts of styles of music. Catchy tunes and melodies is the heart of my music for even the simplest beat or melody can stick inside your head for days upon days. There is no vocals in my solo music, the music and dynamics speak for themselves.
All my life I dreamed about making my own music. In 2000, I decided to figure out how to make my own music using instruments, a microphone, and my computer. Thus "Shadow of Society" was born. This album shows my lack of knowledge with producing songs. Off-tune guitars, poor production quality, even though the music was written fairly well to my instrument-playing ability, everyone always have to start somewhere. Since I write, perform, record, and produce my music in my spare time, this album took 3 years to finally become complete. A spiral album was released after that titled, "Buried in the Shadows" which contains B-sides, remixes, single versions, and unreleased tracks from the Shadow of Society sessions. Spiral albums are albums that spiral the songs from another album in forms of variants, singles, remixes, and bonus tracks.
With that finally done, my guitar amp finally gave out on me and I was left with only my keyboard. With nothing but my keyboard and some guitar pedals, I started to write songs for an E.P. titled, "Life Without Love". This shows my art of dymanics and the catchy tunes that make my music special. This E.P only took a year to finish.
After that, I started to work on my next album, but I got the idea of starting an annual tradition: releasing a song every Depression Day a.k.a. Valentine's Day. One of my best tracks, "The Loneliest Holiday" was written and shortly after that, one of my catchiest club tracks, "Death Without Love" was written and a spiral E.P. with the same title was released shortly after.
Back to my album. I titled this album, "There Is No Light". This album was merely based off of guitar riffs written in a few hours with the exception of the song, 'An Empire of Darkness'. I borrowed my friend's guitar amp for about four hours and recorded riffs for ten different songs. My goal was to take those riffs, add keyboard and drum sounds to them. The style of the songs was intended to sound like Black Metal with a mix of Rock. Unfortunately, four of those songs were not up to qulaity and I scrapped them and decided to have a six-track E.P. instead of an album. It took another three years for me to complete this E.P. and it was finally finished in late 2006.
Since then, I started my side-project band, Decade of Depression. It has the same catchy melodies that my solo project Master Phred has. But this time, there is a specific style of music, two basses instead of one, and I also include vocals in this side-project. Learn more about my side project on the Decade of Depression official MySpace (coming soon!).
Right now, only one track, 'I Suck at Playing Guitar' was recorded since my last E.P. was released (and it is just a freestyle guitar track with a pre-programmed beat from my guitar petal). I do have plans for yet another E.P. titled, "Chaotic Mindstate". It is mainly about my unsteady mindstate which always seems to change based on whatever mood I am in. This E.P. will bring dymanics to the next level. Listening to how these tracks will flow is what makes these tracks special. Look for this E.P. coming soon!
