MASTERS OF DARK FIRE gewinnen deutlich den diesjährigen renommierten Battle of the Bands des Gothic Magazins SONIC SEDUCER.
Aus den mehreren hundert Bewerbungen haben eine Vorjury bestehend aus Mitarbeitern des Sonic Seducers und dann die Leser Masters of Dark Fire zu der besten Gothic Newcomer-Band des Jahres 2008/2009 gewählt.
Das Sonic-Seducer-BOTB ist der europaweit größte Nachwuchswettbewerb für Musikgruppen der schwarzen Szene.

MASTERS OF DARK FIRE from Berlin/Germany is the winner of this years 'Battle of the Bands' for the well-known Gothic magazine 'SONIC SEDUCER'.
Hundreds of bands from all over Europe have participated.
The staff of Sonic Seducer had nominated the candidates and the reader's voted
'Masters of Dark Fire' to number one for best Gothic newcomer band 2008/2009.
The Sonic-Seducer-BOTB is the pan-European most important challenge for new bands representing the Black Scene.
Masters of Dark Fire are a Gothic and Dark Rock Band from Berlin / Germany, established in 2004.
The style of Masters of Dark Fire is mainly assigned to Dark Rock.
The dark mostly English lyrics are accompanied with powerful application.
Catchy rock songs, orchestral hymns and soulful ballads are part of the repertoire of the
four musicians.
The songs are accumulated with keyboard sounds and samples, to provoke a voluminous
overall impression, without missing out the beat.
The band has had performances nationwide, amongst others in Berlin (K17, Knaak Club),
in Hamburg (Indra, Studio One), Erfurt (From Hell), and at some festivals.
As support of the Jack Whites Allstar-Band "The Raconteurs", Masters of Dark Fire rocked 1500 visitors in 2006 at the E-Werk in Cologne and at the Postbahnhof in Berlin.

Masters of Dark Fire sind eine Gothic / Dark Rock Band aus Berlin, gegründet 2004.
Der Stil von Masters of Dark kann am treffendsten als Dark Rock bezeichnet werden.
Die düsteren englischen Texte werden getragen von kraftvoller Musik.
Eingängige Rocksongs, orchestrale Hymnen und gefühlvolle Balladen gehören zum Repertoire der vier Musiker.
Die Songs werden durch Keyboardzuspielungen und Samples angereichert, so dass ein voluminöser Sound entsteht, bei dem der Beat aber nicht zu kurz kommt.
Die Band hatte deutschland weit Auftritte u.a. im Berliner K 17, Knaack Club, im Hamburger Indra und Studio One, im Erfurter From Hell sowie in zahlreichen weiteren Clubs und auf einigen Festivals.
Support Gigs haben sie für MONO INC., Sara Noxx, Thanateros und anderen Szenegrößen gespielt.

...der wahre Blickfang ist die blutjunge Bassistin ToXiCa. So kam es, dass man sich vor einer stilvoll melancholisch beleuchteten Bühne befand und der Blick langsam nach rechts wanderte, wo ein junges Mädchen mit beachtlicher Kontrolle einen Kontrabass bediente, der genauso groß war wie sie selbst. MASTERS OF DARK FIRE sind nun mal eine Band mit Eigenheiten, mit Ecken und Kanten. Genau aus diesen Eigenheiten entsteht ein Zusammenspiel auf der Bühne, das auch diesmal für eine interessante Show sorgte....Der dunkle melancholische Rock der MASTERS OF DARK FIRE kommt live nämlich ganz ausgezeichnet.

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
