Interests

  • General

..Reading, On-line gaming, therapy (musn't harm the children now...)

I'm hopelessly addicted to Dragon-Con!!! See the pics from 2007. I would love to return again.

  • Music

..Oh so much! Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Kiss, Ozzy, Marilyn Manson, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Savatage, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Disturbed, Seether, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Doro Pesch, Seven Nations, Lorena McKennitt, Blue October, Labansky, Limp Bizkit, The Rolling Stones, The Beetles, Queen, Skid Row... the diverse list goes on and on...
  • Movies

This also varies and depends on my mood.

Did I mention that I adore Kevin Smith?
Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl (get over the Jo Lo shit and watch it already, it's a good movie!) I finally made it to Clerks 2 and absolutely loved it!

Of course there's that whole Star Wars saga. Loved 'em all!

Lord of the Rings and that group

Gotta love the comic book movies:
X-Men, Spiderman, The Fantastic Four, the most recent Punisher... as long as it's Marvel then we'll buy it and watch it repeatedly. Of course there are others that aren't Marvel that are entertaining too: Sin City, Superman (old and new), Batman, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...

And then there are those that are "out there":
Four Rooms (did they misbehave? HA it kills me!), From Dusk Till Dawn, Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers and Kill Bill

I just want to be entertained! I'm not looking for the emotional life-altering flick like What Dreams May Come (even though it was awesome).

I've even enjoyed some flicks that might have caused me mental trauma like Vulgar (fuckin' Matt... I'll get you back one of these days) and Hostel

I absolutely, positively DID NOT like Lost In Translation! 102 minutes of my life that I'll never get back...

  • Television

..Dexter, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Fringe, 24, House, Bones, CSI (vegas), Survivor (family night and all) and Lost.
  • Books

Another area where my taste varies and depends on my mood.

My all-time favorite book(s) is Dragonlance Chronicles I read it first in the big 'ol book that I borrowed from Toni that had the first three books combined. I later bought the trilogy. The boys have even picked it up and have started reading it.

There is the Terry Brooks series Magic Kingdom of Landover. They are easier to read than Dragonlance, but no less entertaining!

I also enjoy some of the works of Robert A. Heinlein such as Stranger in a Strange Land, Friday and The Door Into Summer

Of course I love most things from Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Sadly, there is so much good stuff from both of these fella's that I just can't keep up or name them all. I can tell you that I don't know many people that have read King's The Eyes of the Dragon because it's not horror. Who woulda thunk that Mr. King can do fantastic fantasy?

I adore the Laurell K Hamilton series of Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter. But I've got a thing for vampires anyway...and I'm reading more of her works.

That said, I enjoy quite a lot from Anne Rice such as the stories of the Mayfair Witches and, of course, much of her Vampire Chronicles. (Memoch was really hard for me to get into, but hey - nobody's perfect, right?) and there was her ever-so-naughty Claiming of Sleeping Beauty series written as AN Roquelaure.

  • Heroes

Nancy Jacobs. She's the strongest woman I know. She's a cancer survivor, mother, motivational speaker and one of my dearest friends. I love her with all my heart.
Crystal McKee http://boobsinjuriesanddrpepper.blogspot.com/. Read her stuff, you'll learn why.

Believe in the Fairies
Who make dreams come true.
Believe in the wonder,
The stars and the moon.
Believe in the magic,
From Fairies above.
They dance on the flowers,
And sing songs of love.
And if you just believe,
And always stay true,
The Fairies will be there,
To watch over you!

I'm a Proud Pagan and I don't need converting. I am a Goddess learning the power I carry inside. I'm broken-hearted and fucked in the head. Though I sound like a bitch, I'm one of the most loyal friends you could ever gain. I love with every fiber of my being and hate with equal passion. I swear like a drunken sailor and don't fucking care if it bothers you. I have a warped sense of humor and I'm a hell of a lot of fun.
