My name is Mathew Pike, I'm 28 years old, I live in Niagara Falls, NY and this is my absolute solo project. I've played in many original bands in all different walks of music, ranging from Punk to Death Metal. I also played in numerous cover bands, which does get you a lot of exposure. But when you're in a cover band it's the kind of exposure that you don't want, so I broke away from that. Over the years, not really knowing what genre I fit in or exactly what style I wanted to write in to begin with. I wrote mostly acoustic songs, because I knew I could be perform them on my own. That worked out best for me since I was never really in one place for a long period of time. Now that I am stationary I can finally work on ensemble music. In the late summer of 2008, I helped form my current project "AudioBurn" with well known local musicians, A.J. Fantrazzo (Lucid, Adiem), on Rhythm guitar and Vocals; an amazing songwriter and lyrical master. Ryan Gaines (Hooks and Halos, Displaced); on Drums, Percussion and Piano, whom I have worked with on many projects, live and studio. He has been my go-to-drummer for everything in the past two years and will be for the rest of my music career. A newcomer to this impossible game, Thomas Herrick On Bass. He has adjusted quick and eager to the riggers of live performance and the pressures of studio recording.
