My name is Mathew Pike, I'm 28 years old, I live in Niagara Falls, NY and this is my absolute solo project. I've played in many original bands in all different walks of music, ranging from Punk to Death Metal. I also played in numerous cover bands, which does get you a lot of exposure. But when you're in a cover band it's the kind of exposure that you don't want, so I broke away from that. Over the years, not really knowing what genre I fit in or exactly what style I wanted to write in to begin with. I wrote mostly acoustic songs, because I knew I could be perform them on my own. That worked out best for me since I was never really in one place for a long period of time. Now that I am stationary I can finally work on ensemble music. In the late summer of 2008, I helped form my current project "AudioBurn" with well known local musicians, A.J. Fantrazzo (Lucid, Adiem), on Rhythm guitar and Vocals; an amazing songwriter and lyrical master. Ryan Gaines (Hooks and Halos, Displaced); on Drums, Percussion and Piano, whom I have worked with on many projects, live and studio. He has been my go-to-drummer for everything in the past two years and will be for the rest of my music career. A newcomer to this impossible game, Thomas Herrick On Bass. He has adjusted quick and eager to the riggers of live performance and the pressures of studio recording. Hopefully, you will enjoy the pieces that I have selected to display on this webpage and I wil try to keep the genres staggered. Thank you everyone for listening and keep it brutal...

Thanks for the listen and add. Well basically these songs I just slapped together about 2 years ago to find a band....but seems like its evolved into its own thing.....so going to record a full album with better material....I feel the same way about the stuff up here....just look at them as demo plays....nothing like what is coming soon....trust me. I do hope to not flow like the norm....and in doing so I will need the vocals to keep in legible but working with a singer now and he seems to get the flow so far....just gotta lay it all down on tracks. Keep in touch.....should have something up soon.....mad respects for the very honest opinion.....feel you on what your thinking myself....
