Well its kind of difficult to answer this. Mathias brings a new experience in music and lyrics. You can hear many of his influences through his playing and vocals. Just listen deeper than what you actually hear.
You tell me what he sounds like...
Mathias Isassi is a great new up and coming singer/songwriter of this
generation, whose talents blaze with enormous radiance. Only 23 years
old he’s independently produced and released three albums and toured
across Texas twice. Performing solo he played in Comfort, Austin,
San Antonio, Houston, Dallas and this past NX35 in Denton. He also
most recently performed a live in-store acoustic set for the GAP 40th
Anniversary Party in Houston, TX. His style is said to be similar to artists
like Bob Dylan, Don McLean, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Neil Young and
modern artists like James Blunt, Joshua Radin and Glen Hansard.
His stage performance is loud, passionate and filled with raw emotion.
Mathias will prove to be of sure interest to music enthusiasts everywhere
- he is one artist to keep an eye...and ear on.
Introducing his new self-produced EP titled ‘Sad Clown’.
Released through Something Else Music. Hits include “Tears”, “The
Boardwalk”, & “A Song For You”. The album tells a story of love and
devotion and the trials and tribulations that come from it - referring
to a lonesome duck left at a boardwalk, a night of tacos and beer and
more. These are the songs and emotions of the lost, lonely and in love.
Total play time is approximately 35 min.
Music is available at CDBABY.com and major online retailers like
Amazon Mp3, i Tunes, Rhapsody, Amie Street, Napster, Verizon V-Cast, Nokia
