Jeune producteur et DJ frenchy en vogue, Directeur Artistique du fameux label frenchy Serial Records (il a, entre autres, signé Muttonheads, Arno Cost, Arias, Norman Doray ou encore Ran Shani).

C’est en 1999 qu’il se retrouve aux platines d’un club à Rennes pour la toute première fois
En 2001, il devient résident d’une soirée mensuelle à L’enfer et ce jusqu’à la fermeture du club Parisien (devenu aujourd’hui le Redlight).

Il rejoint la team Serial Records en Juin 2002 et prend alors en charge la promo au sein du label.

Mathieu mixe ensuite les deux premiers volets des compilations “French do it Better” (15 000 ventes) et devient naturellement résident de la tournée French Do It Better à travers la France.
Depuis, il a été résident à la Fabrique et au Man Ray sur Paris et a joué au Madeleine Plaza, aux Bains, aux Folies, au Redlight, au 287, sur la Péniche Concorde Atlantique…à Paris

En Mai 2004: 1er maxi « Insiders » avec Demon Ritchie.

Mais c’est surtout en 2006 qu’il connaît le succès avec le Projet SERIAL CREW dont il est l’initiateur. Avec le Titre “Need U”, Serial Crew est directement N°1 du buzz chart en Angleterre, N°1 de la playlist FG durant 10 semaines et début 2006 le titre est licencié sur plusieurs Majors/Labels en Europe dont Universal/ULM/Independance en France avec un clip en rotation sur les chaînes musicales (M6/MCM/MTV..).

« Make Your Own Kind of Music » arrive fin Décembre 2006 avec Muttonheads, signé chez Airplay/Universal et chez Boss Records/Ministry Of Sound pour le monde. Il rentre sur Fun Radio, FG DJ Radio, Contact FM et dans plusieurs autres radios en France et en Europe. Le Clip en rotation sur les chaînes musicales (M6/MCM/MTV/Fun TV…) et le single est sorti le 16 Juillet dernier (TOP 30 singles France).

Mathieu a également remixé, avec Muttonheads, « Love in the new wave » d’Electrico, sorti en Mai dernier chez Dj Center / Cosmonote Blue.

Le troisième titre « Remember », sorti fin Novembre 2007, toujours en collaboration avec Muttonheads, rentre sur Fun Radio, FG DJ Radio et bien d’autres radios en France.
A nouveau, un Clip a été tourné et entre en rotation sur les chaînes musicales (M6 / MCM / MTV / Fun TV…)

Début 2008 Mathieu remixe le premier single du nouvel album de MOBY pour EMI/MUTE et le nouveau LORIE « Play ». Ces deux remixes reçoivent un excellent accueil radio et Djs !
L’année 2008 a été chargée pour Mathieu avec des dates incroyables, une tournée d'été à plus de 100 000 clubbers et 25 dates, la préparation de son album, un nouveau single « NEED U 2008» (remixé par DIM CHRIS, NARI & MILANI, JAYSTYLE & JEREMY HILLS) au TOP 20 YACAST FRANCE (club/radio/tv) pendant près de 2 mois et plein de surprises pour la communauté des MB's.
MAIS 2009 est l'année de tous les défis avec un nouveau titre dès février "IN MY HEAD" (remixs Ali Payami, SvenK, Seb Benett), à la rencontre des clubbers du Monde entier, la soirée FRENCH DO IT BETTER PARTY ON TOUR qui débarque dans les meilleurs clubs français et un tube pour l'été déjà prêt !!

Young producer, up and coming DJ, young A&R at Serial Records, resident DJ on FG Radio, Mathieu Bouthier is one of the new generation of French artists

Began mixing in Rennes (Brittany) in 1998, rapidly getting different residencies across the west coast of France

In 2002, joined Serial Records to be in charge of the mixing and promotion of the 2 compilations French do it Better (Serial Records, April 2003) (15,000 sales)

Encountered mainstream success with the SERIAL CREW Project (end of 2005) as the producer of the Need U track which directly hit n°1 on Pete Tongs buzz chart in the UK, and n°1 on the Radio FG and Contact FM playlist.

At the beginning of 2006, the track was licensed by major record labels across Europe (Universal in France). A videoclip was produced.

A second track was realised at the end of 2006 with Muttonheads "Make Your Own Kind Of Music".
It was released on Airplay/Universal and Boss Records/Ministry of Sound for the world. The track is playlisted on Fun Radio, FG DJ Radio, Contact FM and on others radio stations in France and all over Europe. The video clip is diffused on the musicals channels (MTV/MCM/M6 Music/Fun TV..) and the single CD will be released on July, 16th 2007.

March 2007 : Mathieu & Muttonheads remix Electrico (Love in new wave)....and a new single is coming too : Remember

In 2008 Mathieu remixes the first single of MOBY new album "Disco LIES" for EMI/MUTE and others !
For this summer the song "NEED U" comes back with a new version with muttonhades too and had been remixed by Dim Chris, Nari & Milani, Jaystyle & Jeremy Hills...

Mathieu continues to mix in France (Paris/Rennes/Toulouse/Montpellier/Nantes/Marseille/Nancy/Strasbourg/Poitiers/Bordeaux) & all over the worls (UK/Germany/Poland/Ukraine/Spain/ United States)
