Bio:

Matinèè have been the ufficial tribute band of Franz Ferdinand. The name was given by the band itself that wanted to know them and have them as guests for a whole day in the backstage of the Traffic Festival of Torino. Even Kapranos quotes the band on the english Magazine Q as the best italian Tribute Band which has ever represented Franz Ferdinand. But Matinee are above all a brave band that after a long maturation process and several dates in some of the most fashionable clubs of the middle Italy, chooses the inedited way of coming out with a first EP titled "The Modern EPness" which gains a considerable success, also thanks to the support of Music Force and Load Up Communication, which currently deal with the promotion and the press office. Advertisement has been valued by the videoclip "If you are gone", recorded by Stefano Bertelli and by the presence of 100 20-seconds spots on MTV brandnew, 50 spots on Mtv Pulse and a Backstage Live Special which already went on air on Matchmusic. The videoclip hits it big and goes on air on many Sky channels, such as MusicBox, Matchmusic, Mtv Brandnew and RockTv. In addition to that a "Special" went on air on 22 private tvs of the 5 star circuit in the area of the "Non solo Mtv" report , also on air on EcoTv. The release of their second videoclip "Chain Reaction" and of the hononym album produced by Red House Recordings has been promoted thanks to the cooperation of Music Force on the Musicbox, All Music and Rock Tv channels. A great work which anticipates their debut in the USA with many dates that go from New York through Philadelphia. The rise of Matièe is confirmed by the great overseas success. In 2010 spring their real first EP comed out, followed by a new single video titled "Hercules", actually on air on main italian tvs like "Rete4" and "Music Box". "Hercules" video was recording in London: in fact United Kingdoms will be the next scene of Matinèe's over-border tour.

I Matinèe sono stati la tribute band ufficiale italiana dei Franz Ferdinand, titolo datogli dalla stessa band che ha voluto conoscerli ed ospitarli per un'intera giornata nel backstage del Traffic Festival a Torino: persino Kapranos cita la band sulla rivista inglese Q come miglior Tribute Band Italiana che ha rappresentato i Franz. Ferdinand ! Ma i Matinèe soprattutto sono una band coraggiosa che dopo un lungo processo di maturazione e varie date in alcuni dei club più in vista del centro Italia, sceglie la via inedita uscendo con un primo EP dal titolo "The Modern EPness" che riscuote un notevole successo, grazie anche al supporto di Music Force e Load Up Communication che curano attualmente la promozione e l'ufficio stampa. La promozione è stata avvalorata dal videoclip "If you're gone" girato da Stefano Bertelli e dalla presenza di 100 spot da 20 sec su MTV BRANDNEW , 50 spot su MTV PULSE e da uno speciale BACKSTAGE LIVE andato già in onda su MATCHMUSIC. Il clip piace e va in onda in molti canali Sky come MusicBox, Matchmusic, Mtv BrandNew, RockTv oltre ad uno speciale in onda su 22 tv private del circuito 5 stelle nell’ambito della rubrica “NonsoloMTV” , in onda anche su EcoTv. L'uscita del loro secondo videoclip "Chain Reaction" e dell'omonimo album prodotto dalla Red House Recordings viene promosso grazie alla collaborazione di Music Force su tutte le principali reti come Musicbox, All Music e Rock Tv. Un grande lavoro che anticipa il loro debutto negli Stati Uniti: con tante date che passano da New York City a Philadelphia l'ascesa dei Matinèe è confermata dal grande successo ottenuto oltreoceano. La primavera 2010 segna l'uscita del loro primo vero e proprio EP accompagnato dalla registrazione del video del nuovo singolo Hercules in onda sulle principali reti nazionali come Rete4 e Music Box e registrato direttamente a Londra: l'Inghilterra infatti è la prossima tappa oltre confine dei Matinèe e si prepara ad essere il palcoscenico delle prossime tappe della band.
