Started in 2007 in the OT301. The idea of the party is pretty simple and that’s probably why it works. For a Matjesdisco we need: 1) ‘Good’ music, (varying from 80’s & 90’s hits to electro, trash, breaks polka, gabber and all other crazy things you can imagine, as long as they have the right energy! 2) Drinks (beer, wine and even water if you prefer to stay sober) 3) Happy people (we don’t like the grumpy types)
The music will be played by DJ Klerezooi, DJ Tom Schivez and a guest DJ. This line up is garanteed a winner, it’s proven by the past.
The entrance is very low, just 5 euros and if you come dressed up Matjes-style you pay just 3 euro. If you don’t know what Matjes-style is and check our photo area, then you’ll get the picture. Matje is the dutch word for Mullet, maybe that makes it clear as well.
