God, The way it feels to look into the night sky and realize how small we really are, the way it feels to wake up to someone you love, friends that do drugs, friends that stay true, symphonies, the snow, the rain, the blurriness when you drink alcohol, the happiness when a stranger goes out of their way to make your day happy, acts of random kindness, animals, thunderstorms, headaches, good books, wise people, people who get tattoos with my logo or lyrics, people who make me t-shirts or wear t-shirts with my name on them, cutting magazines, painting what I think God looks like, trying to comprehend what comes outside of space and time and our dimension, poetry, fast car rides, slow car rides, Adam duritz, the numbers 11, 27 and 7, looking at cars that pass by in the opposite lane when I'm out of state and wonder if I'll ever meet any of those people in the future, country music, folk music, progressive delayed sounds, the fear of demons and God, when people think they have everything in this universe all figured out, re-occurring dreams, caffeine/coffee, soft beautiful sounds, street performers, my family, learning about machinery and technology, "leaving through the window" by something corporate, people who HATE me, people who LOVE me, abstract things, metaphors, people who genuinely like my music and could care less of my image and/or what I look like, fresh fruit, touring the country, caring about someone and thinking about them everyday, but never speaking with them, water, twitter, people who say mat moose-toe instead of must-toe, the feeling when you forget something but you don't know what you forgot, looking in the fridge then looking in the cabinets and then looking back in the fridge and the freezer expecting food to start appearing, the love of money, the love of power, the love of peace, not watching television at all, the love that never ends, sleeping in a bed 5 times my human size untill the evening, christmas time / hot cocoa / lights, dancing untill two am, true people, fake people, the feeling when someone opens a door for you when your arms are full, people who give all of their money to churches and not realize it's only paying an escalade payment, childeren in other countries without shoes or homes, Alice in wonderland, gardenstate, giving advice, getting advice, hugging old friends, meeting new people, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan, Rascal Flatts, Dave Matthews, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Blessed Union of Souls, Third Eye Blind, Oasis, each and every waterdrop that drips down your body and down the drain to become one with a larger mass of water, pictures that put you back into your most treasured times, the thought of my Glory days in the future, lovers, waking up to the rain and staying in bed, change, ghosts, late night car rides home playing death cab for cutie in the fall, not knowing who/where my real dad resides, vests, scarves, mullets/rat tails, TOMS shoes, Arizona Iced Tea.
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
My last name is pronounced "must OHH" I woke up one morning and realized I've grown a family of things I see and then learn lessons from each day.. I felt that I wasn't able to resurrect and compose these visualizations for other people to enjoy unless I wrote to everyone on a more personal level. I believe we can all help the world tremendously if we all just put aside our excess feelings over money and drama and politics and religion and simply love one another, and I wanted to write this new record to raise a sense of awareness that there are still people who are striving for love and peace out there, more real people who could care less about things that are so temporary, like the clothes we wear everyday and care more about the real treasures of life. I've been taking notes along my walk and my journey and I decided to put it all to music and continue to do that until the day comes that I can't do it anymore. I'm Mat Musto and I believe.

You probably won't read or reply to this-if you do that'd put the biggest smile on my face- but I truly adore your music. I can relate to every one of your songs in some way. I love the lyrics and of course your incredible voice. I've told so many people to go listen to your music...they have, and they love your songs, too. You should definitely come to Milwaukee, Wisconsin sometime to sing. I'd most definitely go and bring along some of my friends.
