Formed in 2001, Matricide began with Jon Browning on guitar, Grant Butcher on drums, Terina Butcher on bass, and Scotty Stump on Vocals. After a short while, Matricide decided to go seperate ways and pursue other things.
Matricide reformed mid 2006 with Adam Cathar as the new singer. Due to musical differences Cathar has decided to pursue more industrial type music.
Now after a couple line up changes we are a complete band with Chris Jones as our new vocalist. This is our final line up hopefully forever!
Combining elements of Metal, Physcadelic, Melodic Metal, and Death Metal, Matricide promises to bring to the music world something it has long been needing : Diversity.
All the members in Matricide are good friends and enjoy hanging out together and jaming. They each have different tastes in music and each of them bring something to the melting pot that eventually molds into something that you have never heard before.

john, you did a good job on the guitar in my time has come with sin pathetic, the guitar in it sounds kick ass, plus i like the sound that band has going on.

sounds kool, i agree with bands helping each other out. we dont have any demos yet or anything. we aren't really ready to start doing shows yet either. we only have 3 songs, one of which is a cover. but maybe in a few months we will be ready, just have to wait and see. but when both of our bands are ready to start playing shows, i deffently like the idea of helping each other out, and playing shows with each other.
