well, all i have really had the chance to do any full jobs with it yet, but i've laid down a buncha test panels, like maybe 12 to 15 - 3"x5" metal scrap, to show a customer whose car is gonna get an all over once some major customizations are done...VERY impressed with the effects of the Mystical and Candy Clear integrations...and for a few test panels, i experimented outside of the formulas for the Matrix FX colors...again, VERY impressed. i'll be posting some pics on my website soon of some of the test panels and some other custom paint that was used in past job which Matrix was used...Check out www.bunkystrimline.com , there are 3 jobs that we did with Matrix MPB base and topcoated with Matrix MS52. Also, in the pics on my myspace profile, there is a Suzuki sport bike that we did with Matrix MPB base, then a custom midcoat was made with the 500 and a concoction of Matrix Intermix powder pearls. i'll keep you up to date with some pics of some of the jobs i've done or will be doing that kinda stand out from the others...mainly the custom jobs. Matrix is extremely user-friendly...you don't have to be a chemist or genius to experiment with tri-coats, quad-coats, etc. I highly recommend Matrix to any one looking to invest in an intermix system, and doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars a year on toners.
Finally getting a chance to play with some of the FX series colors, and i am EXTREMELY impressed with the FX CANDIES. Ill be spraying out a bunch of test panels for a customer over the next couple days...i forsee some EXCELENT satisfaction from the customer in the near future.....
GREAT F*xING product...special thnx to Jamie (Rep from PA) and Tony (tech from Texas)...only paint manufacturer that will send help TO THE SHOP for problems, even when its obvious its the painter, not the product....will be trying FX series real soon, will post MY comments on it....
Actually I briefly opened the package just to Identify what was in the BAB (Big Ass Box)..... I'll crack it open and get your instructions.....we will go from there....ttyl....
