I don't like feeling like I'm bothering people.. which is why I probably keep to myself alot.

I like having air blowing on me. Like car windows down (even if it's freezing outside.. still have to have them down!) and when I sleep I like having a fan beside the bed blowing on me..

Speaking of sleeping, the more pillows the better. I love pillows. If I had enough, I'd use them instead of sheets.. just coving myself with them. I usually always cover myself completely (body, face, etc) with covers, pillows, etc. Not sure why. Maybe I've done it for so long it's just a habit.. or maybe it's a security thing. It's just comfortable for me.

I'm picky about silverware. Very much so with forks. I'll go through looking at them until I find the one I want. The ends can't be bent even a little.. need to be straight. hah. And spoons, I'm not as picky.. but still picky some.

I know that my thoughts about myself are probably alot worse then what other people are really thinking about me, but I still can't shake the thoughts.. and it keeps me from doing alot of things.

I dip my grilled cheese sandwiches in ketchup and/or ranch. Hey! It's good. hehe. As well as use ranch with just about ANYTHING.  =D

I have a habit of smelling food before I eat it. I usually don't even realize I'm doing it.. it's just something I do. Or smelling things in general. And also just eating weird things. heheh.  =P

I'm too sensitive and am easily hurt sometimes, but I may not show it.. as I usually keep things inside while holding a smile or straight face. Probably goes along side the 'don't want to bother people' thing I mentioned above.

I'm the type of person that, if I do something nice for someone (without them knowing), I'm totally fine with them not knowing that I was the one that did it. As long as whatever I do/did makes them happy, that's all that matters. I'm also the type of person that will stick by a friend that may be sad/not feeling well/etc. even if it means missing out on something myself. The friend is more important to me.

I like to collect Gemstones [see photos]. I have a pouch full of them. Hematite, Tiger's Eye, Amethyst, Sodalite, Labradorite, Jade, Fluorite, Cat's Eye, Angelite, Botswana Agate, Hawk's Eye, etc. I also enjoy collecting anything related to: dragons, Egyptian figures, things with Chinese / Japanese / Celtic or Tribal symbols or designs on them, gargoyles, objects with/holding crystals, etc.

It may sound weird but, I find people interesting. Sometimes I like to just sit back and watch them (no, not stalker like). Watch their actions. Their expressions. etc. Same goes for animals also though. Animals are very interesting to watch/observe.

I'm very much a music person. I usually always have music playing.. and if I don't, I probably have it playing in my head.. battling it out with all the other voices in my head! Eeekkk!! =P

I think my music interests are pretty varied, as I can enjoy just about anything if it has a nice sound to me (I'm just not too big on country). I enjoy anything from classical to rock to darkwave to industrial to soft music to 80's new wave to j-pop to some metal. Even though I think I have a decent range of music tastes, I'm still pretty picky though. I can find enjoyment in alot of music, but as for what I can enjoy and what I'll buy/put on my computer/etc.. those are two different things. I'm picky. I can't really say why/how I'm picky.. it just depends on the song and how it hits me I guess. But the music styles listed on this page are mainly what I usually have playing.

I'm a certified Scuba Diver, and have dove in the Gulf of Mexico (among other places) with [click links for photos]:

I'm always picking apart what I do.. always tweaking it. Like this profile page for example (or other websites I do). I'm always tweaking and seeing something that I think could be better. I guess I'm kind of a perfectionist in a way. Even the littlest things I do bother me (like the location of text, how it spaces out and looks on a page, where images are, how I word/say things, etc..). Despite this 'perfectionist' attitude though, I'm still a firm believer in Wabi Sabi (see the last entry in my "Likes/Interests" box below).

I usually try to get along with most people I meet.. unless they have a "better then thou" attitude, in which case then I probably won't waste my time with them at all.

I enjoy meeting new people/making new friends.. but I admit, I'm not good at holding onto/keeping up with them. From kindergarten through just a few years ago, all that time I had a total of 2 people I would call 'friends'. They were people I hung out with regularly, called, saw on a regular basis, etc. But then I just started keeping to myself more and more I guess. It's been only in recent years that I've somewhat 'opened up' a bit and tried to make new friends.. so now adays I have more people that I consider 'friends' then I used to... but still like 'alone time'. To put it simply: I hate being lonely, but I like being alone.

I don't have any piercings or tattoos. Not because I'm against them or anything (I'm always up for seeing other peoples), but just because it doesn't interest me to have them on me. If I was to get them, it would be only for looks.. and I'm not one to get something done just to look good/different/etc. to others.

I usually dislike labels to describe a person. 'Goth', 'prep', 'emo', 'punk', 'thug'... yeah.. whatever.

I may not talk much (unless I know you well and am comfortable around you), but I'm a good listener.

I'm not afraid to admit if I'm wrong, or if I don't know the answer to something.

I'm not one who usually approaches people.. I stay in the background or around people I know (people have called me their "shadow" many times).. Because of this, sometimes people (the people that I don't approach) think that I'm being mean or I don't like them.. but that's not true. Please NEVER think that. Anyone that I meet, I usually try to get along with.

I usually 'talk' alot more online then I do in 'real life'. I've thought about why this is.. and I guess in 'real life' I'm more of a sit back and listen/observe type person. But online (E-Mail, IM, etc.), there's not that much to observe.. so all that I've listened to/observed and feel like talking about comes out more.

I'm honest, trustworthy, open minded and very patient.

I was born close to 2 months premature. I used to have lighter colored hair for years [see photo].. but then, over time  it got darker [see photo].

Although I don't get to do it alot, I love to travel and go to new places.. and I always have my camera with me to capture the moment. Like: St. Augustine, Florida; Orlando; Miami; Key West and the other Florida Keys; Savannah, Georgia; scuba diving at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico and in Crystal River with the Manatees, etc.. all interesting places. I wish I could travel more then I do now. I'm always up to going somewhere.

My eyes are sometimes green, sometimes blue, or sometimes a bit of both. Depends.

I love animals. In fact, usually I'd rather hang more with animals then people. I've always had at least a few around all my life. Cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, squirrels, birds, etc.

I'm interested in Fortean Phenomena (strange naturally occurring phenomena that science cannot yet define or explain.. like Cryptozoology, Earth Mysteries, Ghosts / Spirits / Hauntings, Psychic Phenomena, Strange Coincidences and Occurrences, etc.). and also Science & Technology (Physics, Quantum Physics / Mechanics, Black Holes, Space/Time, String/M Theory, other Dimensions, Multiple Universes (multiverses), Advancements in Technology, etc.) and photography.
