I also LOVE movies, taking photos, sociology, psychology, geography, learning about cultures, sports, sign language, interaction with people, impressing people, being a total bum, the internet, qwning n00bs on teh internetz boards, hanging with friends, filling out my favorites, being right, doing lots of fun shit, doing a whole shitload of nothing, drinking, partying....you know, lots of things that interest people.

Oh yeah, and most things on Adult Swim (obviously), minus the anime. Except for Shin Chan, that show is awesome!
  • Books

Matilda by Roald Dahl is my favorite book and Roald Dahl is my favorite author. He wrote books that were wicked and scary and twisted and still managed to be child friendly. He was awesome. I also love Danny, The Champion of the World and Fantastic Mr. Fox but the rest of his entire collection is great too. Other books I have enjoyed are Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Requiem for A Dream by Hubert Selby Jr., Animal Farm, Farenheit 451, Alice In Wonderland, The Hot Zone, To Kill A Mockingbird, The River Why, The Tipping Point, Saint Morrissey, I Am Legend, among others. Basically it's like this: I'm not a bookworm myself but I HATE people who don't condon reading or call it something like "gay" or "for loozers" when really without reading, there can be no stimulation of the mind as well as no new ideas and no advancement in society. So, unless you want the world to end up like Idiocracy, you should start reading!
  • Heroes

My heroes are my parents. They're the one's who taught me everything I need to know and they're the only people I can rely on for life. Also these musicians are pretty cool too.

About me:

Well, there is a lot I could tell about me. I am abstract, fickle, weird, you name it. But I'm a very random person as well. Random blurbs below.-_-

You can usually find me wearing headphones, but not as of late. My mp3 player has broken and I haven't been in with the loop of music as of late anyways.

I can be a total prick when I want to, but am generally a nice person.

I joke around a lot with people. Sometimes it isn't always at the right moment, but usually it is out of fun and games. You'll realize this once you've been around me a lot of times.

I used to be the kind of person that would drown in their sorrows for hours. I've learned to pull myself out of that kind of a life and make myself happier. Although sometimes I have moments where I rant, but those aren't that often.

I'm a homebody and don't get out much.

I CAN drive now.

I am somewhat greatful for not being able to drive for all those years. I would have never been able to discover my burning love for music had I gone out and been one of the "in" crowd. I would have been listening to lame shit like T.I. and Nelly and lame bands like Good Charlotte or Evanescence. I'm glad I wasn't one of the unfortunate ones to fall into the trap of crappy music. I do like some pop artists and music, but for the most part the mainstream music scene today blows ass.

As you can see from my lovely rant above I love, love, LOVE music. It's pretty much the only thing that interests me and the one thing I can talk your ear off about. That and movies of course, but who doesn't love movies as well? Nothing is a bigger high for me than music, and nothing in my life has ever brought me more joy. I like anything, and I do mean ANYTHING. I'm rather pretentious and an elitist about music, but that's just me. I won't tell you the music you listen to sucks, unless of course you say the music I listen to sucks. Just because it doesn't make sense to you and requires a little more deep thought than usual doesn't mean it isn't worth listening to. Go listen to your Metallica or Three Days Grace cd's and continue shoving your head up your butt some more.

I don't have very many friends; that doesn't matter though because life isn't a popularity contest. It used to bother me and I carry much of the painful baggage still. I have learned recently though to put up with the fact that I am socially awkward and probably never will be good at making and keeping friendships. Unless of course you like music a lot like me. WE WILL BE BFF'S!!!!!!

I am strongly against racism and this is a big shtick for me. I see no significance in being racist these days. Racism was condoned back in the day (for stupid reasons), but that was back in the day, not present day. Grab hold of the times and pull your head out of your ass.

I hate people who don't condone the simple task of picking up a book and reading it. I am no bookworm myself, but when you say "reading iz fur loozerz" it makes you look like an idiot. Get yourself some edumacation (sarcasm). READ.

I am FAT. If that makes you click out of my profile, that is perfectly fine. I am not going to waste my time with someone who isn't going to bother getting to know the real me instead of my outside facade, which is greater than my oblong shape.

I hate politics in general. I don't mind people who like politics and enjoy being active, but it's not something I really care about. I also hate people who follow political parties and abide by just those ideals. I care more about resolving the issues at hand instead of fighting back and forth about who's right and who's wrong. The right wing and the left wing BOTH suck, plain and simple.

I've pretty much given up on humanity in general. People don't deserve to be living the nice comfortable lifestyle they've been given because more often than not they don't appreciate it. And those who don't have a comfortable lifestyle do nothing to better themselves usually (like having more and more children they can't support or educate). I hope the tell-tale signs of the 2012 events hold some truths so we can die off as a race.

As you can see I like writing about myself. It's not because I'm self-centered or anything, it's just that I don't really have much to occupy my time with, so I spend it on myspace. How sad. =(

Well, that's all that I can think of off the top of my head. I haven't even scratched the surface of describing the real me.

Who I'd like to meet:

Doesn't really matter to me. I'm not really here to "meet" anybody. If you're really chill and have decent taste in music I'll probably like you. If you like to joke around, I'll probably like you. If you're nice and not a complete douche I'll probably like you. Anyone else need not try and meet me because I won't tolerate you if you don't meet one (or all) of the former criteria.
I'd also like to meet Ian Curtis in some way or form someday, as well as Trent Reznor, Scott Weiland, Billy Corgan, Bjork, Michael Stipe, Morrissey, Thom Yorke, Frank Black, Paul Francis, Stephin Merritt, Kate Bush, etc.

    Hello!

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.

There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a tune called Run Bobby Run:

Let us know what you think!

    Peace,
    Elliot

Soooo you might be changing careers? Do it! You'll get paid more doing either one of those jobs you listed. That would be a nice change :) I'm still looking for a job ugh. I'm going on a massive job hunt next week so hopefully something good comes out of that.
