Matt and the Barnburners, along with new addition Jess Hines, play an upbeat style of bar room blues and boogie, performing at clubs, bars, wedding, festivals, etc. The band performs original and standard blues numbers with a very unique and personal style and features songwriter and longtime MBS member Matt Bilodeau (harmonica and vocals) and Jess Hines on vocals. Both are known for their high level energy and involvement in blues music.
The rest of the Barnburners are from the central Maine area and use their varied musical backgrounds to provide Matt with the platform to do what he does best, entertain the audience. He might be performing on the stage, in the audience or on a table but Matt sums it up best with “We’re here to entertain and have fun.”
