About me: Recent Family News: We have reached the end of our second year of marriage! Two years down, several more to go!
*We both started taking some college classes again at Kirkwood. We are both taking American Sign Language (ASL), however Tonya is taking the full interpreter program for it and Matt is only taking ASL's I-IV with a few business classes.
*We bought our first house! We closed on it May 29th. We are still currently living in Cedar Rapids. (Yes, the house was on the list of things to do before kids. Tonya's already trying to revise the list.)
Tonya: Started a new job this past year working for Mercy Medical Center. She teaches CPR classes for them, and enjoys what she does. She only wishes there were more hours right now.
Matt: Matt also started a new job this past year. Hard to believe, but he actually left Target. He started working for PMX last June. The upside was better pay and hours, but the down side is that he got laid off at the beginning of February due to a reduction in business.--Update: Matt started working at Hy-Vee as an assistant manager about a month after getting laid off from PMX.
On a side note, we have lost several of our beloved pets this past year. In the beginning of the year, our betta fish Mr. Shramek passed away. In July, Sheena was put to sleep. She was Matt's shetland sheepdog of several years. She lived a long life and was surrounded with loved ones on her last day. Finally, one of our twin rabbits, Spazz, died a few days before Christmas.
hey Tonya sorry i didn't get back to you right away thank you for what you said about the pics. Yes that is little Carver in the pic next to Kaden. Any way how are you guys doing?
Hey Tonya - I wanted to thank you so much for those CDs you gave me christmas eve. The photos you took of my wedding are by far the best I've gotten - even better then the photographer we hired. Your photo editing skills are amazeing. :)
Now if only I could re-do my wedding about 60lbs lighter.. ;)

have you talked to that older crazy sister of ours? i think she disappeared... she never goes this long with out responding to my calls/texts... i think i've been replaced...
