Bio
Matt Bilyk received his BA in Jazz Performance from Manhattan School of Music in 1997. After graduating college, Matt started his freelance career by subbing in the pits of Broadway. In addition, Matt has had the privilege to work with such performers and groups as: Warren Vache, The Irish Tenors, Bobby Rydell, Jimmy Beaumont, The Happenings, The Classics, Mel Cater, Sonny Turner, The Dupree’s, Connie Francis, The Guy Lombardo Orchestra, Bob Crosby and The BobCats, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, The Richie LaBamba Big Band, and many more. Matt Bilyk is also on staff at Northern Valley Old Tappan High School, Elisabeth Morrow Private School, and the Encore Music Program in Ridgewood New Jersey. As well as playing, giving clinics and adjudicating, Matt’s private studio is full of young and talented trombone students.
