About matt davis

some facts about me: I grew up on a farm in New Jersey. I have a huge family. I lived in Philadelphia for a long time. Now I live in NYC. I spend a lot of time on the New Jersey Turnpike going back to Philadelphia. I love all things musical. I teach guitar. I perform a lot. I like to compose music. I read a lot. I collect rejection letters - I have just over 50 now! I also collect old 78 records, many of which were given to me by my oldest brother, Tersh. I like to cook. I don't like winter. I will never get tired of listening to Pat Metheny's "Beyond The Missouri Sky". I share the same birthday as Babe Ruth, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and President Reagan.

Musicians & Bands	Jan 31 2009 1:04 PM Your old Jazz Band Director was watching one of your performances in a gym, before we went to Great adventure for the Trills and Thrills music event. Rich and Steve were in the band then. Rich is the English Department Chair now. I found a VHS tape and was thinking about you yesterday. I also have an 8X10 black and white glossy photograph of the band with our T-shirts on after one of our concerts. Would love to send you a copy. So happy to hear you stayed with it and have accomplished so many wonderful things with your music. I remember your first guitar lesson with Chris Burns. This is my 25th year at school.
