Current Activities: I play in Lifetones (a duo with Chris Riggs), Whamster (duo with Dan Sutherland), Cage Match (quartet with Kate Olson, Doug Stuart and Tim Cohen), and occasionally with Mike Khoury and Ben Hall. I used to play in Halolos and Symbology. I play freelance jazz in Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Toledo. I teach at Hillsdale College and privately. I have a freeform radio program on WCBN (88.3 FM if you're in Ann Arbor or nearby outlying islands) on Mondays from 3pm-5:30pm . I work as Music Director at Canterbury House, the Episcopal student center for the University of Michigan. I also maintain a record label and a blog of writings.
