Matteo Bennici is an italian cellist, bass player and composer. Besides a long-time touring activity with bands and musicians like Traumfabrick, Tsigoti, Claudia Bombardella in the past, Squarcicatrici, Motociclica Tellacci and Qura in the present, he's been professionally composing and producing soundtracks for films, theatre, tv, performance and video. Beyond genres, across composition and improvisation,he uses a wide range of instruments from tradition to distorsion, challenging himself with new projects and developing a new idea of soundmaking. Accanto ad una lunga attività con gruppi e musicisti come Traumfabrick, Tsigoti, Claudia Bombardella (in passato), Squarcicatrici, Motociclica Tellacci e Qura (attualmente), ha lavorato come compositore e producer di sonorizzazioni per film, teatro, tv, danza ed altro.
