Matteo Bortolotti is a novelist and screenwriter. Since 2004 is the assistant secretary of Bologna Writers Association and is also a member of the Premio Solinas committee (national prize for screenwriters). Finalist for Premio Tedeschi for best unpublished novel. His first release, "Questo è il mio sangue (literally 'This is my blood')" was published in 2005 by Mondadori/Colorado Noir, editorial project created by Sandrone Dazieri and the Oscar Winner Gabriele Salvatores.
In 2006, he co-founded STORY FIRST a company involved in Cinema/TV productions, story editing, doctoring for publishers, networks and others.
Radio-entertainer, bluesman, he also collaborates with several mags and websites.
