MATTER is the personal project of Guillermo Gutiérrez Hernández (Guigher), a project in which his musical knowledge is widely developed. The essence of Matter is experimental and electroacoustic music build up from synths and classic instruments.
Guillermo was born in Madrid in 1977. Composer, Musicologist and Sound
Engineer, music is part of his life since a very early age, when he
began his guitar lessons as well as music theory. He studied violoncello, composition and choir direction with Steubing Negenborn. Albeit his classical training, his eagerness for music led him towards many different styles and musical techniques, contributing with his creativity to the work of diverse authors and bands.
He studied Sound Engineering and Musicology at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, where he received training from Alfredo Aracil, Ana Vega Toscano, Jean-Claude Risset, Begoña Lolo, Peter Bosch, Joaquina Labajo, Pedro Gonzalez Casado, Carlos Martínez Gil, Manuel Gama, among others.
Currently, Guillermo lectures on different audio-related subjects at various educational institutions such as microFusa or Ondas Escolares & Universitarias. He has worked at LIEM with Adolfo Núñez on sound research.
He has also given several courses on Musical Production and Composition.
Currently, he combines his job as teacher with his work as composer and
sound engineer at different recording Studios.
"Vacuum" is the result of the union of several concepts in which Matter has unified the word and the sound inspired by I circulate del everything and the nothing. Krautrock and the experimental scene in 70's, Conrad Schnitzler, Klaus Schulze... among others would be the clear references of this project in where music experiences highly tactile a creative process.

MATTER ist das persönliche Project von Guillermo Gutierrez Hernandez (Guigher). Ein Project wo Guillermo, in einer ausführlichen weise, alle seine musicalischen Kenntnisse entwickelt. Die Essenz und Base von Matter ist die Experimentale und Elektroakustische Musik, die aus Synthesizer und klasisschen Instrumenten entworfen wird.
Im JIEM 2007 fand die einweihung einer seiner Werke statt, Insomnio/Regresion, mit einer Grossen Akzeptation des Publikums. Es ist gerade dann das Guillermo beschliesst sein Project zu starten, in zusammen arbeit mit Medusa Music, und so sein Debüt Album entsteht.
Ende des Sommers 2007, vollbringt er die swierige Tat das ganze material zusammen zu bringen, für sein erstes album.
So entstäht, ab der analogischen behandlung der verschiedenen Synthese und der Samples, in vollem einklang -Konzept der Musik und Idee des Musikers-, und der Kollaboration von Juanjo Alba, Kaiser & HARARCA, sein erstes, dass als resultat ein Kompletes Audiovisuelles Werk ist.
"Vacuum" ist das Resultat der Bindung verschiedener Konzepte, wobei Matter das Wort und den Sound des allen und gar nichts vereint hat.Krautrock und die Experimentale Szene der '70er, Conrad Schnitzler, Klaus Schulze....unter anderen, bestanden durchaus eine Klare Referenz für dieses Projekt, wo die Musik einen sehr hohen taktilen Prozess durchlebt.
Twentyone es el titulo del primer ep de Coushin para Audiovisual Theorem. Un ejercicio impecable de abstracción digital de veintiun minutos de duración. El 50% del duo de techno Agonyforces desarrolla en Coushin su vertiente musical más intima, la que discurre entre glitches y breaks por un paisaje sonoro lleno de emociones y texturas matemáticas. IDM melancólica y avant-techno milimétrico, ritmos robóticos y sensibilidad se dan la mano para configurar el imaginario musical de un alquimista de sonidos enigmáticos y melodias llenas de nostalgia.
Twentyone is the title of Coushin's first ep for Audiovisual Theorem. A perfect exercise of digital abstraction with a duration of twenty-one minutes. 8 conciertos, performances, obras multimedia y una exposición permanente de Instalaciones Sonoras, convergiendo así trabajos de artistas Nacionales e Internacionales de diversas estéticas y trayectorias que toman el trabajo del sonido como eje principal.
El Encuentro de Arte Sonoro TSONAMI es una plataforma Independiente, de difusión del trabajo de artistas Latinoamericanos y de intercambio con producciones del resto del mundo vinculadas a las Artes Sonoras. TSONAMI es además un punto de encuentro transdisciplinario en torno al arte contemporáneo y la temática del sonido.

Hola Guillermo, he estado escuchando los últimos temas que has subido, los he escuchado con poco tiempo, pero en esa apresurada escucha me han gustado. Fantástico.
Inspirados por caballeros de la talla de George Romero, Max Brooks, Goblin o Zombie Zombie; Echtra comienza como un experimento sonoro para describir con su musica el apocalipsis, las sombras y el primitivismo. Algo asi como la banda sonora del fin del mundo.
Tras su debut con el corte "Apuntar a la cabeza", incluido en el recopilatorio "Of men and machines" (avtheorem_017), Echtra EP significa la puesta de largo de un proyecto con exquisito talento a la hora de sintetizar electro, krautrock y ritmos psicodélicos. Una banda apasionada por los sintetizadores analógicos y el solanum dispuesta a transportarnos a la catarsis zombie.
