Matters of Fiction recorded their first EP at Kingdom Studios using the prize they won for 1st place in the Best of The Best Competition in December 2004. They have performed live in the studios of RTRFM and 96FM and have been playing gigs with the likes of The Dirty Secrets, The Simian Line, New Rules for Boats, Bordello, Dyslexic Fish, Josivac, Gus and Frank, Monkey Punch, Imprint and the Screwtop Detonators at the Perth Royal Show.

Matters of Fiction’s “All You” EP is currently available from ITUNES and selected stores including 78 Records in Perth and Red Eye Records on King Street in Sydney. It gained rotation on Access 31’s Late Night Montage and has since lead to a range of TV and radio spots, details of which are on the website. The band are nearing the exciting stage of preproduction for a full recording and will be continuing their standout live performances in WA this year. www.mattersoffiction.com
