About me: Hi, I'm Matt Fried, your future husband and maybe the guy who can make you laugh. Let's take it slow - I just got out of a really bad break-up. I'm a writer and comedian in New York City, with credits at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The Peoples Improv Theater, iO (Improv Olympic) in Chicago, amongst others. I perform longform improv (think SNL type stuff) and write things with my friend, Chris O'Neil. You regularly tea with Peter O' Toole, ey? I certainly hope it's at Alice's Tea Cup. I can't imagine Mr. O'Toole requesting a tea bag at any other establishment. I'm in "Sunset Park". We're neighbors, my friend. When do we get to tea?

[voiceover] So where are you Matt Fried? You're in some motel room. You just - you just wake up and you're in - in a motel room. There's the key. It feels like maybe it's just the first time you've been there, but perhaps you've been there for a week, three months. It's - it's kind of hard to say. I don't - I don't know. It's just an anonymous room with captioned pictures of cats all over the walls. And the captions contained misspelled words and the occasional error in syntax.
