The Matt Gauss Band rose like a phoenix from the ashes of Matthew Gauss Esq.'s life. Sprung fully formed like Athena from Zeus' forehead if he were sitting on a stoop in north east Philadelphia, the band instantly gained recognition from all who witnessed their majesty. They embody and embrace the dichotomies of fast/slow, tall/short, impressive/disappointing, real/fake, ad infinitum.

Matt, Hope all is well w/u. The band I was in the 80's MIDNIGHT HERO got signed with RETROSPRECT RECORDS(Don't figure now that I'm an old man we get signed......right !! HA HA HA ) anyway they just rerelease old stuff on a new label. Check it out. Peace, Billy
