BIG LUCKY is here..! The second CD released by Matt Douglass features confessional songs of life, love and perseverance that hit home. Big Lucky finds Douglass deftly crisscrossing genre borders through a travelogue of mid-tempo guitar driven rockers to country and blues.
Douglass' beginnings were playing lead guitar/mandolin with a touring rock/country band (Bitter Creek)in the 80's, focusing on the musical style of Gram Parsons/EmmyLou Harris/Rodney Crowell , and sharing the stage w/Vassar Clements, Pure Prairie League, Michael Murphey, and Commander Cody. After that were stints in everything from a British Invasion rock band(The Edge), to a reggae rock band(Reactors)to an American rock n' soul band, before deciding to go on his own.
Other area bands Matt played in were The Sway and Red Tape...
BIG LUCKY is here and now..!
